Your environmental stay in Gironde
Reception
René and Marie-France will welcome you in an old farm, renovated during the 19th century, in a privileged setting in the heart of a wild park of 10 hectares entirely fenced.
We have been favouring environment and the development of biodiversity for 30 years through the creation of a « Landscaped Park Preserving Biodiversity » with Reserve Naturelle seal of approval granted by the Birds Protecting League since 1973 and which is shown in the brochure of « jardins labellisés » from the horticulture of society of Gironde.
So, of course, that lead us to be involved in the environmental building of the resting place in a peaceful, authentic and ecology-minded setting, whence its qualification of « 1rst écogîte de Gironde » in 2009. (Seal of approval created by Gîtes de France in a ecologic pace of rural tourism which fill in the environmental demands : solar power for the heating and sanitary warm water, healthy and ecologic building material, sorting garbage…).
Leisure is not forgotten in our steps. We make available for children, toys, a meadow where soccer, volley-ball, basket-ball, and badminton can be practised. A ping pong table is also available in the shade. To the parents we propose bikes to make sweet rides and to everyone a commented visit of the park.
